Our Team

Chloe de Cruz:

With 21 years of BDS Performing Arts under her leadership, Chloe D'Cruze brings an extraordinary wealth of experience and passion to the school.

Chloe’s journey began with a scholarship to train at Elmhurst Ballet School and Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, where she graduated with honours. Just two weeks after graduating, she landed the role of Patty Simcox in Grease on a number 1 UK tour and at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End.

From there, Chloe joined the original cast of Romeo and Juliet at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End as a swing. She went on to perform in Just Like That at the Garrick Theatre and played Iris in Fame The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre for six months, while also understudying the lead roles of Serena and Miss Bell, the dance teacher.

Chloe toured the UK again as part of Tonight’s the Night, where she served as dance captain and understudied the lead. Her last show was the international tour of Saturday Night Fever, where she understudied the lead role of Stephanie.

Beyond the stage, Chloe has a broad portfolio of work, including appearing in music videos such as Peter Kay’s Road to Amarillo, UK No. 1 pantomimes, and commercial projects. She also served as the independent dance instructor for Channel 4's Big Brother for three years, teaching housemates dance routines, developing tasks, and judging their performances. Chloe was also a dance instructor for BBC Sport Relief.

Under her guidance, Chloe has been proud to work with talented students across Hampshire and Surrey. BDS students have performed at prestigious venues, including His Majesty's Theatre in the West End, The Arts Theatre, The Theatre Royal Portsmouth, and multiple sold-out shows at The Petersfield Festival Hall.

Chloe is also thrilled to be part of the ISA International Skating Academy, where she helps skaters develop their performance skills, flexibility, strength, and presentation to achieve their best on the ice.
Chloe’s vision and dedication have made BDS a thriving and inspiring community, and she is excited to lead the school into its 22nd year.
