Accommodation

ISA Academy

The ISA Academy training center is located in a picturesque area, a 25-minute drive from the center of Prague and 35 minutes from the airport. The modern on-ice training arena with stands, comfortable locker rooms, and sports halls is housed in the same building as a cozy hotel, sauna, spa, restaurants, bars, and conference rooms. Figure skaters no longer need to spend precious time running or commuting from the hotel to the ice arena. All of this is now just a few steps away.

List of items needed for ISA camp

On the ice:

  • Thermal ice suit
  • Several pairs of gloves for variety

For off-ice training:

  • Sneakers
  • Sportswear for off-ice training
  • Jump rope, resistance band, and spinner for body conditioning

For ballet classes:

  • Soft shoes/ballet flats, dance shoes for floor dancing

Training week schedule

22 hours of instruction per week for all groups:
11 hours on the ice, 11 hours off the ice

Condensed program: On-ice training and demonstration shows, with awards of commemorative diplomas and trophies to all skaters.

Intensive group on-ice training for 2 hours a day

On Saturday, 1 hour of group training for all groups and demonstration performances (costumes required)!

Option for individual on-ice sessions of 1–2 hours per day (optional)

During morning sessions, skaters learn gliding techniques, complex spins, and step sequences

During evening training, athletes work on jump technique analysis, component development, and correction of jump elements in programs

Daily preparation in the choreography hall (ballet, dance, stretching, etc.)

Coaches also use a harness (longe line) for complex jumps on the ice

Specialized physical training using the latest equipment for balance and grouping
